Procrastination of Students Who Study Online Courses

Procrastination is one of the significant phenomenon that reduces success educational activities at all stages learning. Online learning fosters procrastination due to fact teacher’s control situation decreases and there more freedom in planning academic load by student himself. The aim work was study psychological characteristics students prone procrastination. sample consisted 228 UrFU who online courses. Empirical methods: “Scale motivation” Gordeeva, O. A. Sycheva E. N. Osina (SHAM), “The scale general procrastination” K. H. Lay adaptation S. Vindeker M. V. Ostanina, as well TIPI questionnaire R. McCrae P. Costa. Information about performance obtained from Pointrating system university. As a result, level positively associated with amotivation and, interestingly, conscientiousness. Students high low levels differ amotivation, also have different configuration relationships between personal motivational characteristics.
